Description
Our mission is to be the leading originator and allocator of (re)insurance risk, combining high-conviction underwriting and portfolio solutions powered by technology, data and AI, to create enduring partnerships and deliver better outcomes for (re)insureds, brokers, and Capacity Providers. TFP is the world’s largest independent MGA. We are a high-growth and highly-diversified business, with a differentiated model. We underwrite a wide range of complex global specialty (re)insurance risks for a diverse set of highly-rated, primarily long-term Capacity Providers, and provide comprehensive portfolio and capital optimization services, including exposure management, outwards reinsurance structuring and purchasing, and claims handling. We have a fee-based business model and are paid placement and profit commissions by our Capacity Providers. We are not a (re)insurance carrier that underwrites risk in exchange for (re)insurance premium. We operate two complementary segments, Fidelis Underwriting and Pine Walk, which originate specialty (re)insurance risks and underwrite across more than 150 complex lines of business and over 140 countries in our Specialty, Bespoke, and Reinsurance pillars. Our diversity contrasts with many traditional MGAs that are often monoline in nature, operating across a restricted set of geographies that leaves them exposed to significant movements in individual markets. Richard Brindle-led underwriting teams have outperformed across multiple market cycles over a more than 40 year period and our team’s expertise extends across Property D&F, crisis management, marine, energy, aviation, space, credit, political risk, casualty, accident & health, and reinsurance lines of business, among others. We originate our business principally through our long-standing and deep relationships with wholesale brokers, as well as through retail brokers, local brokers and direct (re)insured relationships, through which over 10% of our Written Premium is sourced. Fidelis Underwriting acted as a Lead Underwriter on 94% of the risks it underwrote for the twelve months ended June 30, 2026, which we believe helps us to achieve better pricing, terms and conditions for our Capacity Providers, while also increasing our relevance to brokers and access to the most attractive placements. We use proprietary data and technology alongside underwriting judgment to help maximize returns for our Capacity Providers. We allocate premiums to our Capacity Providers utilizing our rules-based systems and believe our proprietary technology stack empowers our underwriters and positions us to scale efficiently while maintaining disciplined underwriting performance. For the twelve months ended June 30, 2026, 70% of Bound Premium was supported by long-term capacity (which reflects multi-year capacity arrangements with Pelagos Insurance Capital, Syndicate 3123 and Syndicate 2126). We believe that our business model has structural advantages due to the scalability of our centralized origination and underwriting capabilities across over 150 lines of business and more than 140 geographies, deep broker and (re)insured relationships, position as a Lead Underwriter, proprietary technology stack, and risk allocation process to a panel of diverse, highly-rated Capacity Providers. Our ability to attract new Capacity Providers allows us to allocate additional capital to (re)insurance risks we already underwrite where their appetite overlaps with that of our existing Capacity Providers. We believe that this supports efficient growth at limited incremental cost, drives meaningful operating leverage, and reduces our reliance on originating new (re)insurance risks. We believe our ability to attract and retain longterm Capacity Providers partly reflects market confidence in the 40 year track record of underwriting outperformance of businesses and underwriting teams under the leadership of our founder, Chairman, and Group Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”), Richard Brindle. Our executive management team has deep industry knowledge, with an average of approximately 25 years of experience, and our philosophy is that every employee should be a shareholder in the business, supporting alignment throughout the organization. --- We believe our fee-based business model will support profitable growth across market cycles, as demonstrated by our growth and margin profile. --- TFP Group Limited was incorporated on January 21, 2022 in Bermuda as an exempted company operating under the laws of Bermuda, in contemplation of the Bifurcation Transaction. Our principal executive office is located at 22 Bishopsgate, 42nd Floor, London, EC2N 4BQ, United Kingdom. Our telephone number is +44 203 846 6060 and our website address is https://www.fidelispartnership.com.
