Description
Source Agriventures is an early stage farmland-focused real asset and sustainable agriculture company that seeks to generate long-term value by combining high-quality agricultural real estate with regenerative farming, clean-energy development and strategic Agricultural Technology (“AgTech”) investments. Source Agriventures has a limited operating history: We currently own one farming property located in Illinois and plan to acquire more, as part of a broader operational strategy that will include a number of business verticals. Our business is built on the belief that farmland is a scarce, essential and increasingly valuable resource, and that the next generation of agricultural land ownership will be driven not only by crop production, but also by improved land stewardship, diversified revenue streams and the integration of modern technology that are combined to increase return on investment. A part of our strategy is the acquisition and long-term ownership of productive farmland in the Midwest and the Sun Belt regions of the United States, which is then leased to experienced operators through structured arrangements designed to produce stable and recurring rental income. Our goal is to partner with tenant farmers and encourage the adoption of regenerative practices such as reduced tillage, optimized fertilizer use and cover cropping. We seek to enhance soil health and long-term productivity while positioning properties that we acquire to generate additional value through the sale of carbon credits. These practices support both environmental resilience and the emerging economics of carbon sequestration, which we believe represent a significant opportunity for forward-looking farmland owners. To date, our leasing activity has been limited to leasing a single piece of land, and we have not begun any carbon sequestration or sale activities. In addition to traditional agricultural leasing, our business strategy utilizes a multi-faceted approach to monetize the same farmland parcels through the co-location of renewable energy projects and artificial intelligence (“AI”) data centers. Many U.S. farming regions are well-suited for solar arrays, wind turbines and, in certain cases, small modular reactor technology, due to their large parcels of open land, favorable topography and proximity to transmission infrastructure. By partnering with established renewable energy developers, or by selectively investing in energy infrastructure ourselves, we seek to generate incremental recurring revenues that are not correlated to agricultural commodity cycles. This dual-use model allows farmland to produce both agricultural output and long-duration energy-related revenue, enhancing overall return on investment while supporting the transition to clean energy. Currently, we have a strategic lease agreement with a third party to install wind turbines and wind turbine infrastructure on our sole agricultural property. However, to date, we have not entered into any arrangements or engaged in efforts to develop AI data centers on the property. Beyond farming and renewable energy projects, we also focus on the long-term potential of agriculture-aligned technological solutions. We make strategic investments in AgTech companies that are developing tools intended to increase crop yields, improve water efficiency, reduce chemical dependence and strengthen long-term farmland performance. These investments give us insight into emerging innovation across the agricultural value chain and allow us to support technologies that may be deployed on our own properties. Over time, as the demand for compute-intensive technologies accelerates, we also see potential for select farmland sites to support the development of modular, energy-intensive AI data centers, particularly where on-site renewable energy resources can be integrated to help meet power requirements. Our overall vision is to build a diversified agricultural real estate platform that intersects the food and energy supply chains. We aim to acquire farmland with strong underlying fundamentals, improve those assets through sustainable farming and soil-enhancing methods, develop renewable energy and carbon-sequestration opportunities where feasible, and utilize AgTech and potential AI-infrastructure innovations to increase long-term land value. By operating across these complementary verticals, we seek to create a portfolio that delivers stable cash flows, potential capital appreciation and exposure to several high-growth sectors that are fundamentally linked to global sustainability trends. Although the ultimate outcome of our multi-faceted strategy cannot presently be determined due to our limited operating history, limited financial and operational resources and because they are contingent on future events and matters, we believe our approach positions us to benefit from several structural tailwinds affecting the agricultural economy, including declining farmland supply, a generational transition in farm ownership, increasing food demand, heightened interest in sustainable agriculture and growing investment in clean energy infrastructure. By creating business segments that serve these aspects of the agricultural industry within a single company, Source Agriventures aims to become a differentiated participant in the North American agricultural ecosystem, combining traditional farmland stability with modern innovation and multi-source value creation. Source Agriventures was incorporated in the State of Nevada under the Nevada Business Corporations Act, on May 30, 2023. Our head office is located at 540 5th Avenue SW, Suite 1410, Calgary, Alberta T2P 0M2, Canada and our registered and records office is located at 3064 Silver Sage Drive, Suite 150, Carson City, Nevada 89701 USA. Our telephone number is (778) 707-0363. We also maintain a website at www.sourceagriventures.com. In August 2025, we changed our name from “Source Agriculture Corp.” to “Source Agriventures Inc.”
