Description
We are a leading provider of engineering, procurement, and construction services to the power and data center industries. We specialize in building utility-scale solar projects, battery energy storage systems (“BESS”) and high-voltage transmission and distribution (“T&D”) infrastructure. Since our founding in 2005, we have built more than 7.3 GWac of generation, nearly 1.7 GWh of battery storage and T&D infrastructure that connected over 26.4 GW of capacity and load to the grid. We are recognized as a top 10 utility-scale solar builder based on installations from 2015 to 2025 according to Solar Power World. Demand for our services is growing rapidly as independent power producers (“IPPs”) add new generation to satisfy rising electricity demand, utilities upgrade and expand T&D infrastructure to support rapid load growth, and data center operators build more energy-intensive facilities. For the year ended December 31, 2025, our revenues grew 67% to $739.4 million compared to the year ended December 31, 2024 and, as of June 30, 2026, we had $3.6 billion of backlog representing an increase of 410% compared to the same date in the prior year. 85%, 13% and 2% of our backlog as of June 30, 2026 was related to generation, T&D projects and standalone battery storage, respectively. Our revenue in future periods may differ from the amounts in our backlog due to contract changes or terminations and other factors. Our customers include IPPs, project developers, utilities, industrial facilities and data center operators. Since 2021, we have completed projects for 14 of the top solar 20 IPPs in the U.S. We seek to partner closely with our customers by engaging with them during the planning phases of their projects. By engaging early in project design, we help identify value engineering opportunities that benefit both our customers and us, as well as make it more difficult for competitors that are less familiar with the projects to displace us. Our projects are typically executed over 12 to 18 months pursuant to one or more limited notice to proceed (“LNTP”) agreements followed by a lump sum engineering, procurement, and construction (“EPC”) contract. Under LNTP agreements, our customers pay us to perform initial engineering and site investigation work, procure long lead time equipment and begin initial mobilization of our workforce and equipment, the results of which we use to refine our price to construct the project. This structure reduces our risk by allowing us to learn more about the site conditions, reduce estimating assumptions and more accurately forecast our costs prior to entering into an EPC contract, and it benefits our customers by reducing change orders and schedule disruptions during construction. We are headquartered in Houston, Texas. As of June 30, 2026, we employed approximately 345 professionals and 757 trade and craft employees. --- CoVolt Power, Inc., was incorporated as a Texas corporation on April 22, 2026. Our corporate headquarters are located at 711 Louisiana Street, Suite ST 2500, Houston, Texas 77002. Our telephone number is (713) 267-5567. Our principal website address is http://www.covolt.com.
